Day 1: Delhi – Kasol (By Volvo Bus)
The trip will begin with an overnight Volvo bus from Delhi to Kasol (12 to 13 hours). As you get ready for one of the most epic adventures of your life, get a good night's sleep on the comfortable train to the highlands!
Kasol – A quaint valley with a sparse population and jazzy cafes. Interestingly, most of Kasol’s inhabitants are Israeli tourists. Locals assert that the village is a favourite among several youngsters who escape to the Parvati valley after serving their compulsory military stint in Israel. Experience the Hippie and Shanti vibe of Kasol’s “Little Amsterdam.”
Day 2: Kasol – Grahan Trek
Following the welcome by our agent and trekking leader in Kasol, there will be a little time for relaxation. Have breakfast and begin the 4 to 5-hour, 10-km trek to Grahan village down a trail along pine and rhododendron trees. Lunch during the journey and reach Grahan village, explore around the peaks and passes, and have dinner and a bonfire. Stay overnight in Grahan Village.
Day 3: Grahan – Kasol Trek (Return by Volvo Bus)
Followed by breakfast, rise to the sound of silence and wander around the village, interact with locals, explore the local school, and find the secret waterfalls. Enjoy a 3 to 4-hour hike back down to Kasol, you can explore the hippie market, dine at any café, or try the local food. With fond recollections, the tour ends at Kasol where you may catch the evening Volvo bus back to Delhi. We will part ways at Kasol and will get together shortly for another journey.
