Char Dham Yatra is the most sacred journey for Hindus in India. There are four temples included in Char Dhams – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. All these four are sacred places for Hindus. Every year many people come to take blessings from these four temples. We brought you 10 days of Char Dham Tour Packages in which you can visit all the dhams. This package starts from Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Dehradun at your convenience at the time of booking. Tour Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar Transfer
Begin your spiritual journey from the nation’s capital – Delhi. Meet & greet session with our tour manager who will assist you further. Afterward, proceed for a journey to Haridwar which is approximately 239 kilometers away and takes 4 hours road trip. On reaching, complete the check in formalities at a pre-booked hotel or ashram. In the evening attend maha aarti at the banks of River Ganges. Later, take a leisure stroll around and then return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot Transfer
Post-morning breakfast, meet our tour representative at your hotel / ashram. After some basic information, start your journey to Barkot. Later, proceed for a drive to Barkot. Check into the hotel on reaching Barkot and stay overnight.
Day 3: Day Excursion to Janakichatti, Yamunotri, Janakichatti
Next morning after breakfast, take a drive to Janakichatti. From there start your trek to Yamunotri. After arrival at Yamunotri take a bath in the warm waters of Surya Kund (Hot Spring). Enjoy the darshan of Yamunaji and return trek to Janakichatti. Later drive towards Barkot. Stay overnight at Barkot.
Day 4: Uttarkashi transfer
In the morning after breakfast, relax for a while. Later take a drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Shivgufa on the way to Uttarkashi. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple – One of the famous temples of Hindus, this temple is in Uttarkashi. It is one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Uttarkashi. Afterward, check into the hotel. The remaining day is free for you. Stay overnight in Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Gangotri Excursion
Early in the morning after breakfast take a drive to Gangotri. On the way visit Gangnani Hot Spring. Take a holy dip in Kund. Later proceed to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil valley. On reaching Gangotri, take a holy dive in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform pooja and darshan after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Later return to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 6: Guptkashi Transfer
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi. On the way, you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi and visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptkashi. Check into the hotel, arrive in Guptkashi. Stay overnight at Guptkashi.
Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath transfer via Sunprayag
In the morning after breakfast, today we will go to Kedarnath. To reach Kedarnath, you have two options – by helicopter or trek. After reaching there, worship the Kedarnath Temple. Check into the hotel or ashram. Stay overnight in Kedarnath.
Day 7: Guptkashi transfer via Sonprayag
After breakfast, explore the nearby areas and take a walk at Kedarnath. Later reach Guptkashi as per your choice by trek or helicopter. Upon arrival check into the hotel in Guptkashi. Stay overnight in Guptkashi.
Day 8: Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath
In the morning after breakfast take a drive to Badrinath. Check into the hotel and arrive in Badrinath. Pilgrims can have a bath in the Taptkund while having the darshan of Badrivishal & aarti in the evening. Stay overnight in Badrinath.
Day 9: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag
Post morning breakfast take a drive for Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Visit on the way Darshan of VishuPrayag, Narsingh Temple in Joshimath, KarnPrayag, and NandPrayag. Check into the hotel in Rudraprayag for a comfortable night stay.
Day 10: Haridwar Transfer via Rishikesh for departure
In the morning after breakfast, proceed for a drive to Haridwar/ Dehradun/ Rishikesh. You will be dropped back to the hotel/ Airport/ Railway Station. The tour concludes here.
