Mumbai to Srinagar
Your journey begins with a direct or connecting flight from Mumbai to Srinagar. Direct flights to Srinagar take around 3 hours, while connecting flights may take between 5-8 hours, depending on the layover.
Day 1: Srinagar Arrival
Our tour representative will meet and greet you at the hotel transfer or houseboat on Dal Lake when you land at Srinagar Airport. A unique experience, houseboat accommodations offer serenity on the lake. Take a Shikara ride on Dal Lake in the afternoon. Enclosed by picturesque mountains, the journey passes via markets, houseboats and floating gardens.

Day 2: Sonamarg Excursion
Embark on a full-day trip to Sonamarg, located around 80 km from Srinagar. The road journey to Sonamarg takes around 2-3 hours, offering picturesque views of valleys, rivers and mountain ranges. It is known for the Thajiwas Glacier, which remains snow-covered even in summer making it a popular spot for photography and snow activities.
Adventurous travellers can try out river rafting in the Sindh River, offering thrilling rapids amidst beautiful scenery. After a full day in Sonamarg, you’ll return to Srinagar.

Day 3: Gulmarg Excursion
This full-day trip to Gulmarg, a popular destination for skiing and mountain sports, is located around 50 kms from Srinagar. The Gondola ride to Apharwat Peak, one of the highest cable cars in the world. The town is a hub for skiing, snowboarding and snowplay. After a day filled with lots of adventurous drama, you’ll be driven back to Srinagar.

Day 4: Pahalgam Transfer
Travel to Pahalgam, also known as the Valley of Shepherds, located around 90 kms away from Srinagar. Admire the magnificent beauty of Pahalgam, known for its scenic landscapes, dense forests, rolling meadows and the Lidder River. Admire the peaceful and panoramic atmosphere of Aru Valley and then head to Betaab Valley, offering beautiful views for a leisurely visit.

Day 5: Srinagar Transfer
Get a drive back to Srinagar to wrap up your Kashmir tour from Mumbai. Shop for local artefacts, handicrafts, and souvenirs. You may also visit Badam Wari Park or take a final Shikara ride on Dal Lake.

Day 6: Departure
Today you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport to leave for Mumbai where your journey will come to an end. The final day will make you feel refreshed with lots of memories amid serene lakes, snow-capped mountains and picturesque valleys.

How to reach Kashmir from Mumbai?
By air – the most convenient way to reach Kashmir from Mumbai is by taking a direct or connecting flight to Srinagar Airport. This would be a quick and easy way to travel the distance in a few hours.
By train – there are no direct trains to travel from Mumbai to Srinagar, but you can take a train to Jammu Tawi railway station. From there, you can drive or take a bus to Srinagar which is around 6 to 7 hours away.
By road – traveling by road is possible but takes significantly longer time like 2 or 3 days, depending on how the journey is broken up.
