Kolkata to Srinagar
Traveling from Kolkata to Srinagar is quickest by air, with connecting flights via Delhi or Mumbai, taking around 6 to 8 hours in total. Travellers can take a train to Jammu, followed by an 8 to 10 hours scenic drive to Srinagar.
Day 1: Srinagar Arrival
Upon your arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be greeted by our tour representative, who will accompany you for hotel transfer. How to reach Kashmir from Kolkata?
By air – taking a flight is the quickest and most popular way to travel from Kolkata to Srinagar. Direct flights from Kolkata to Srinagar are not available, so flights usually have a stopover in Delhi, Mumbai, or Chandigarh. The airport is approximately 12 kms from the main city.
By train – if you prefer taking a scenic yet budget-friendly journey, you can travel partway by train and take rest by road. Direct trains from Kolkata to Jammu Tawi, take around 36 to 40 hours.
