Itinerary:

Day 1: Naggar – Rumsu – Stelling Trek

Begin this trek by reaching Naggar’s meeting point, and start walking to the Chanderkhani Pass for an amazing experience right away. The activity is super exciting as you will pass through blue pine and deodar, walnut, golden oak, and wild cherry. Once at this place, you can ascend for an hour or more to the route that takes you to Rumsu village. Enjoy your lunch here, then go on a clear route that takes you to Stelling pastures approximately 1350 m high. The trekking journey of 5 to 6 hours will come to an end here. Sleep in the tents under a starry night.

Day 2: Stelling – Chiklani Basecamp

With the fauna grinning around, enjoy a hike on charming Stelling and Ghalkrari pasture stretches. When you are here, see the Birch trees which smell the earthly fragrance. Something during this trek, you take a steady ascend to the Chiklani basecamp (approx. 3450 m above sea level). Day 3: Chiklani Basecamp – Chanderkhani Pass – Nagruni Thach

Today on your best 4 to 5 days Trek in Manali, you will see the Dhalakda Pathar, Chanderkhani Pass, Bara Bangal Range, Pir Panjal & Parvati Ranges, and Nagruni. The whole trekking journey provides scenic vistas of snow-clad mountains and breathtaking open valleys. Then, you will ascend to the Dhalakda Pathar and later proceed to a steady uphill on the ridge of the Chanderkhani pass.

Soak in the magnificent views of the Bara Bangal range in the west, Pir Panjal to the north, and Parvati in the east. Post that you will start climbing down when on the way to Nagruni as compared to the climb up to the pass where you might see sheep grazing. Arrive at the camping ground of Nagruni where you will pitch tents for the night.

Day 4: Trek from Nagruni Thach to Malana

On this day, the path from Nagruni carries on to an at times steep downhill until you reach Malana. Enjoy the trail to one amidst the conifer forest. Reach Malana village located about 2600m above sea level, and mingle with the locals. Stay overnight in the tents.

Day 5: Trek from Malana to Jari, Drive to Manikaran & then Kullu

This morning, carry on with the downhill climb on a steep route that is marked well till Jari. First, go downhill and pass through a woody area of mostly Deodar trees. Proceed to Malana Nallah, cross the gorge area and proceed to Jari from where you hop in to a vehicle to be driven to Kullu through Manikaran. As you reach Kullu, the Chanderkhani Pass 5 days trek will end with lots of amazing memories.
